This worked for me...
Something we've all gone through..."How do I get more leads/appointments?"
I sent a one page letter written on "School Lined" notebook paper. It was
written/printed by my 8-year old son. The focus was on "I'm helping dad grow
his business...and this is what he does".

I mailed it in a plain #10 envelope also addressed in my son's "scrawl".
The mailing was followed by a telephone call and so far, I am seeing a 33%
success rate in getting appointments.

EVERYBODY remembers the letter. EVERYBODY read the letter.

It took some time to hand address the letters, but it's amazing how
using a chewed, stubby #2 pencil with no eraser makes you print like an 8-year old.

It doesn't hurt that I offer a free service. I review the last three
years of business tax returns and only charge a fee if a find a refund that was missed.

Additional comments regarding this letter:
My first thought was to actually have my son write the letter.
27-hours later...he wasn't even half-way through. I learned to imitate
his "scrawl" using a #2 pencil. I left the salutation blank and
personalized each letter. The copies I made are amazing...they
look just like the original. All I have to do is pop in the
addressees, name...and it's done. Hand addressing each envelope
was the hardest part...but I feel it was worth it. Not many people
will throw out a letter that appears to be written by a child.
I sent out 500 over a 5-week period (20 per day did not overtax me
